Pet Food and Health is a paymium app. The app starts in demo mode so you can explore without committing. In the demo mode you cannot add your own pets or food, but you can explore the functionality of the app for the included pets and food.
Subscribing unlocks access and lets you add your own data.
The app offers two subscription levels. Each subscription is for a full year.
Open Preferences in the app, tap Subscribe, and complete the in‑app purchase flow. If you’ve subscribed before, use Restore Purchases from the same screen.
iOS Family Sharing is an iOS feature that allows you to share your purchases and subscriptions with up to 5 family members. The Pet Food and Health app fully supports Family Sharing on iOS.
Android Unfortunately, such a feature does not exist on the Play Store except for Google's own apps. The Pet Food and Health app will support this feature as soon as Google adds it. Until then you need to have a subscription on each individual account. This means that you can download the app and use the same subscription on different devices if you are logged in with the same Play Store account. If you have another device where another account is logged in then you'll need an additional subscription.
Please make sure you are using the same App Store/Play Store account. A subscription is tied to your account, not your device.
Your subscription is with Apple/Google, not with Smarthound. If you subscribed by accident you have to reach out to Apple or Google and follow their procedures. In general, they will offer a refund if you contact them within two hours. However, they may also apply some restrictions on your account. For example, they may restrict you from obtaining another refund for another app in the upcoming months.
While refunds may be possible in a limited number of cases it is strongly advised to use the demo mode in the app to evaluate if the app works for you.
